Yes! Children are very welcome at Chokchai Elephant Camp. We have a dedicated Family & Kids Programme designed for children aged 3 and above. All activities are supervised and child-safe. Children aged 4–10 receive a 50% discount on all programmes. Babies in arms are free of charge.

Hotel pickup and drop-off from Chiang Mai city centre is available as an add-on. You can select this option during the booking process on FareHarbor. We pick up from most hotels in the Nimmanhaemin, Old City, and Nimman areas. We are approximately 1 hour from the city centre.

We provide traditional shirts for all guests to wear during the programme — these are included in your booking price. Underneath, wear light, comfortable clothes. Bring closed-toe shoes or sandals you don't mind getting muddy. For the bathing session, wear clothes you're comfortable getting wet, or bring a change of clothes. Sunscreen, a hat, and insect repellent are recommended.

Yes! All our packages activities include fresh fruit and sugarcane for elephant feeding, and a traditional Thai lunch for guests. We can accommodate vegetarian and vegan diets please let us know during booking. Fresh drinking water is available throughout the day.

Please note that all bookings are non-refundable once confirmed, unless the cancellation is made by the camp.

Chokchai stands out as one of the largest elephant camps in Chiang Mai, with a large number of elephants that are all under our direct care — we do not rent elephants from elsewhere.
